Mr. Eads lives with his wife, Chris, in a small Nebraska community where he enjoys his servitude to two cats, metal detecting, and writing thrilling, action adventures for middle-grade students. He has also written Time Slime about Sammy and his friends, Burgy and Ollie, who discover what they think is a jar of preserves in an old cellar. But when Sammy samples the jar’s contents, he is instantly whisked back in time to relive his recent past. But his repeated use of this distilled time causes a weakness in the space-time continuum which threatens the entire world including himself when he is trapped in the past! His second book, The RIP* Trip, also features Sammy and his friends as they experiment with a cutting-edge, virtual-reality program which delivers them to a familiar, but dangerous, mansion fifty years in the past. Things seem okay until they see a mysterious man in the distance who can see them, too!
